What is RAE Cares?

RAE Cares is an organization of RAE Corporation, dedicated to empowering our employees and community to thrive.

The RAE Family Foundation exists under the RAE Cares umbrella, and is a corporate charity founded by RAE Corporation employees. It was originally designed to help RAE employees experiencing financial hardship due to medical issues, family tragedy or natural disaster situations.

Since its founding in 2010, RFF has expanded its reach to include many other areas of giving back to the Mayes County community and surrounding areas.

RFF partners with the NE Oklahoma Food Bank and Catholic Charities to host a mobile food pantry each month in Mayes County.

Over the past 15 years, we have been proud to support other local and nationally recognized charities including the Make-A-Wish Foundation, American Cancer Society, Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, St. Jude’s, Ability Tree, Movember Foundation, the Mayes County Foster Program, Men in the Making, and more, as well as local foster care outreach. We are also passionate about helping underprivileged kids in Mayes County through school programs and scholarships.

Along with our original focus, which includes scholarships for employees and their children, our future goals are focused specifically on fulfilling basic needs of children in our community, offering mentorship to enhance their overall life and growing our scholarship program for others in our communities.

WHAT WE DO

The RAE Family Foundation and its volunteers seek to support their community in times of need. To fulfill our mission, our volunteers host various fundraisers throughout the year including our annual golf tournament, Valentine’s Day bake sale, 5K events, and more. Funds received go towards RFF’s four support programs:

  • Emergency Relief Fund

    Where RFF got its start years ago, the Emergency Relief Fund distributes financial aid to RAE employees who need immediate financial assistance due to medical hardship, natural disaster, family death, or other unexpected challenges of life.

  • Community Outreach

    The RAE Family Foundation is dedicated to making a meaningful impact beyond our walls by actively engaging with the communities we serve. Through volunteer efforts, corporate giving, and strategic partnerships, we support local organizations, schools, and initiatives that align with our mission. Whether it’s sponsoring community events, providing essential resources, or lending a helping hand through service projects, our outreach efforts are driven by a commitment to empowering and uplifting those around us. By fostering strong community connections, we strive to create lasting, positive change.

  • Education Scholarship Fund

    One of the ways the RAE Family Foundation supports its community is through the Education Scholarship Fund. This fund provides RAE employees and their children an opportunity to offset some of the costs associated with pursuing higher education after high school. Each year, the foundation supports the next generation of leaders through our scholarship program. Additionally, we are expanding this opportunity to high school kids in the Mayes County community.

  • Mobile Food Pantry

    In partnership with Catholic Charities and the Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma, the RAE Family Foundation hosts a monthly Mobile Food Pantry – distributing thousands of pounds of food per month to families in the area. This program is open to all, and makes a significant impact in our community.
